For Immediate Release, April 2008
http://www.familycirclecup.com
Since its successful debut at the 2004 Family Circle Cup, Match Point Market continues to combine world-class tennis with upscale boutique shopping. Match Point Market will feature six vendors in a tented open-air market that will offer a variety of merchandise for patrons to purchase during and between matches. Making its debut in 2008, our new Vendor Village will feature three exciting Family Circle Cup partners and will be located adjacent to Match Point Market on the north side of Family Circle Magazine Stadium. The Family Circle Cup will celebrate its 35th Anniversary April 12th - 20th, 2008 at the Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, South Carolina.
“Match Point Market offers a collection of upscale vendors sure to provide a wonderful shopping experience for our fans during our 35th Anniversary Celebration,” commented Robin Reynolds, - Family Circle Cup Tournament Director. “This unique shopping area is a place where fans can take a break from the on-court action and pick up a few nice gifts for themselves or a friend to enjoy.”
Match Point Market merchants will be presenting wonderful non-tennis items such as jewelry, beautifully crafted sweetgrass baskets, fine clothing, spa products, and many other items that have been purchased by a variety of national and international retailers, celebrities, dignitaries, and Hollywood studios. Retailers including Elizabeth Carlton Studio, Koko P Sports Jewelry, The Lantana Life, Base Line Boutique, Sassy’s Gifts & Accessories, and Theodosia Jewelry will be on-site presenting merchandise for our valued patrons.
